Noctara is a browser extension that reads individual posts you choose on LinkedIn, X, and Substack, and (optionally) reads your own in-progress drafts. Nothing runs automatically. Every read is initiated by you clicking a diamond button next to a post or draft.
When you click to read a post, we send the text of that post, its URL, and the surface (LinkedIn, X, Substack) to our API at noctaracorp.com. If you are signed in, we also send your signed authentication token so we can apply your plan limits and, if you have a LUX mark, return a dual-lens read. We do not send page content for posts you did not click.
If you are signed in on the LUX or Pupul Direct plan, reads you click are stored in your private archive so you can review them later. You can delete any archived read at any time. If you are not signed in, we store only an anonymous daily counter so we can enforce free-plan limits.
Sign-in uses Noctara's own keystroke-biometric sign-in on noctaracorp.com. The extension never sees your mark, your keystroke timings, or any password. It only receives the signed token after a successful sign-in on the site.
We use Anthropic's Claude API to generate reads and rewrites. We use Supabase to store archives and usage counters. We do not sell data. We do not run third-party tracking in the extension.
Sign out at any time to remove the token from the extension. Delete archived reads at any time. Uninstall the extension to stop all transmission.
